Background
DEMOfest is organised by SICSA’s Informatics Ventures in partnership with ScotlandIS and with the kind assistance of Scottish Enterprise and our partner organisations (Scottish Enterprise, Knowledge Transfer Partnership, SIE and Interface) help us to promote the transfer of knowledge and technical skills to industry, particularly technology driven high growth businesses.
Join CENSIS on the day where we will be exhibiting alongside our sister Innovation Centre, the Digital Health Institute.

DEMOfest is an annual technology showcase of leading Informatics and Computer Science research from Scottish universities and creates an environment for industry partners and academics to come together and identify opportunities for:
- Collaborative Innovation
- Studentships and Placements
- Technology Licensing and Consultancy
- Feasibility and Proof of Concept Studies
Scottish universities can be considered to have the largest ICT research cluster in Europe and this year’s DEMOfest shows the best of Informatics and Computing Science state of the art research in Scotland. This year’s DEMOfest will have a themed focus on:
