Led by CENSIS Business Development Manager Cade Wells, this week’s coffee break will look at hydrogen and the Internet of Things.
The format
The coffee break takes place online using Zoom. There’s no charge and participants can join using audio or video. Numbers are capped at a level that allows everyone to take part on the day. If you sign up, we strongly encourage you to join the conversation either to give us your thoughts, discuss examples of what’s happening in the sector, or ask questions.
The subject
Innovation in IoT is changing the way we work and live, and new products and services are being created all the time. This ‘digitalisation’ of our lives, and the ever growing number of IoT enabled devices may generates many benefits, but also creates massive energy demands.
How do we balance our IoT thirst with global targets to cut energy use and reduce our environmental footprint? One way may be through the use of hydrogen.
Potential topics for this discussion could include:
- Powering IoT devices with hydrogen technology
- Supplying power to remote and rural locations
- Using hydrogen for domestic and commercial use, including in transport
- Storage issues
Register
Please register via Eventbrite. This event takes place on Zoom and the link will be issued to registered participants by email before the chat takes place.
