Led by CENSIS Business Development Manager Cade Wells, this week’s coffee break will look at the resilient connectivity for smart applications.
The format
The coffee break takes place online using Zoom. There’s no charge and participants can join using audio or video. Numbers are capped at a level that allows everyone to take part on the day. If you sign up, we strongly encourage you to join the conversation either to give us your thoughts, discuss examples of what’s happening in the sector, or ask questions.
Resilient connectivity for smart applications
Innovation in sensing and imaging is continuous, resulting in the introduction of new products and services to the marketplace. Many of these products and services rely on data communication to function optimally and provide the most benefit to the end-user. As we move to an era of devices being interconnected at a greater scale, the resilience of communications networks is expected and often essential.
This coffee chat will explore what challenges we have – and foresee – in the connection of devices over large geographic areas, and how closer partnerships with the communications technology ecosystem can yield solutions.
While the discussion is driven by you, topics may include:
- Protecting telecommunication assets in extreme environmental conditions
- Better facilitation of interoperability between different equipment manufacturers
- Provision of scalable bandwidth for conditions of unpredictable high communication network loading
- Cyber security – protecting large networks from common and ongoing threats
Register
Please register via Eventbrite. The Zoom link will be emailed to participants a few days before the call takes place.
Our virtual coffees are very popular and we often have a waiting list, so if you sign up but can’t make it on the day, please let us know so we can release your place to someone else.
