If you attended the 7th CENSIS Tech Summit, you may recall one of our panellists, Prof Emilie Combet of the University of Glasgow, talk about a new programme she is involved with – the Scottish Alliance for Food (SCAF), bringing together stakeholders across different disciplines and sectors to grow capacity, think creatively and support transformative research and innovation around food health, sustainability and equity.
A final stage bid is currently being prepared for submission to the Scottish Funding Council to fund SCAF and Prof Combet and the SCAF team are currently developing SCAF activities, governance and network to submit a full proposal in December 2022. Anyone interested can contribute to the SCAF community to help shape the final proposal – simply register your interest to get more information and get the link to join the Zoom planning sessions on:
