CENSIS is working with Vox Imaging Technology on an innovative project to develop a custom high-speed, high-performance video data acquisition subsystem. This subsystem will integrate seamlessly into Vox’s imaging pipeline, leveraging CENSIS’s expertise in precision sensing, electronics, hardware design, prototyping, and firmware development.
The project partnership aims to enhance the imaging capabilities of VoxOne, the company’s benchtop confocal Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope (cSLO), by combining CENSIS’s expertise with Vox’s silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) sensor and low noise amplifier technology.
The result is expected to deliver high dynamic range, low noise images with sensitivity to the single-photon level, setting a new standard in imaging performance.
