Please join Solid State Supplies and Digi International for a free, interactive workshop; another in the seminar series brought to you by the CENSIS.
The IoT Centre at CENSIS helps companies overcome product development challenges to fast-track the creation of IoT products and services. In addition to a demonstration area and project development space, we offer regular seminars with high profile vendors to provide advice and guidance on how best to use their products to generate greater business efficiencies.
The workshop is free to attend, and refreshments and lunch are included.
Who Should Attend?
The workshop is based around practical, hands-on sessions and is aimed at hardware and software engineers working on IoT applications. Regrettably the workshop is not suitable for current undergraduates or new graduates.
Objective
This event gives participants a technical jump-start with the new ConnectCor 6UL using Linux Yocto to develop sensor and communications processing systems. This whole day, hands-on, workshop will include an introduction to the latest device features and provides a guide to setting up the tools for Yocto Linux development, system security and examples of how to connect to different sensors and I/O devices with the development boards.
Takeaways
Participants will leave with a working knowledge and resources to start their own application development based on the ConnectCore 6 System-On module platforms.
Required Kit
Training materials will be provided, including development kits and a laptop preloaded with the development tools you will be using. You may be asked to pair up and share kit for the training.
Attendees will also be offered a special promotional on the Connect Core 6 and 6UL development kits used at the workshop.
